Libby suspect in court on unrelated charges
A POLISH butcher questioned in connection with the disappearance of student Libby Squire remains under investigation, police said yesterday.
Pawel Relowicz, 24, was arrested last Wednesday at his rented home in Hull. Det Supt Matt Hutchinson, of Humberside Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Libby Squire and a 24-year-old-man remains under investigation.”
Miss Squire was last seen sitting alone on a bench near her home in Hull at around 12.09am on Feb 1, having been turned away from a nightclub for being too intoxicated.
Her parents, Lisa and Russ Squire, yesterday attended a two-hour prayer vigil at Hull Community Church. Mrs Squire was seen hugging a police officer as they left.
Last night, Humberside Police charged Mr Relowicz with five unrelated offences, which are alleged to have taken place between Dec 2017 and Jan 2019.
Det Supt Hutchinson said: “Pawel

“An offence of outraging public decency was reported to have taken place on Jan 19 2019 in Hull and an offence of voyeurism was reported on Dec 26 2018 in Hull.
The three burglaries were reported between Dec 2017 and Jan 2019.”
