Home Secretary demanded a meeting with the Prime Minister yesterday to raise concerns over the second referendum, but was rebuffed.
He has built up an extensive campaign team for the Tory leadership and has repeatedly clashed with Mrs May during her premiership.
Jeremy Hunt
Health Secretary is a front-runner for the Tory leadership.
Mr Hunt is said to have described the Prime Minister’s offer of a second referendum on Brexit as “catastrophic”.
He was another minister who tried to secure a meeting with Mrs May yesterday over her Brexit policy, but was unable to do so.
