Double fault

-

Andy Murray has admitted that neither of his daughters is sporty and says he won’t force them to play tennis. The former world number one and two-time Wimbledon champion said he was enjoying spending time with Sophia, three, and Edie, one, as he recovers from hip surgery, which he suggested could force him to retire, meaning his two girls may never see him play in a competitive match. In today’s Telegraph Magazine, Murray, 32, said: “I had envisaged playing tennis in front of them. That was making me a bit sad [when he was injured]. But I’m now fine with that. They’re not massively sporty. I’d like them to play sport as it’s a good thing to do and it’s fun. But I wouldn’t force it on them.” For full interview see Telegraph Magazine
