Wizz Air tells passengers to change passwords

-

Budget airline Wizz Air has advised 3.4million customers to change their passwords amid growing fears the airline was victim of a cyber attack.

Customers were told yesterday to switch their old passwords on their accounts as soon as possible and ensure that they were not using them elsewhere.

Wizz Air said the advice was due to a technical glitch in its systems and was not linked to a cyber attack.

Last year, British Airways said that thousands of customers’ bank details were stolen and 9.4million Cathay Pacific passengers’ data was hacked.
