Wednesday

12pm Theresa May faces her final Prime Minister’s Questions. 1pm Philip Hammond hands Mrs May his resignatio­n as Chancellor. Other Remainsupp­orting ministers, including Rory Stewart, David

Gauke and Greg Clark, are expected to follow suit.

Mr Johnson begins seeing ministers he intends to sack. 3pm

Mrs May visits the Queen at

Buckingham Palace to tender her resignatio­n. 4pm

Mr Johnson visits the Queen and is invited to form a government. 5pm

Makes first speech as prime
