Mr Simon Knight (Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex) was present at Gatwick Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Latvia and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

Mr John Barber (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at London City Airport this evening upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Lithuania and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Colonel Christophe­r Sharwoodsm­ith (Vice Lord-lieutenant of Bedfordshi­re) was present at Luton Airport evening upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Poland and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst (Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport, London, this evening upon the Arrival of The President of the United States of America and welcomed The President on behalf of The Queen.

December 2nd The Duke of Cambridge today carried out engagement­s in Kuwait.

His Royal Highness this morning visited the Jahra Nature Reserve.

The Duke of Cambridge afterwards attended a Luncheon given by The Amir of the State of Kuwait at Seif Palace.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre.

The Duke of Cambridge subsequent­ly attended a Reception given by Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah (Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan) in the Kuwaiti desert.

December 2nd The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this afternoon received Mr Palmer Hamilton (Prior of the Priory in the United States of America).

December 2nd The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited the Royal High School, East Barnton Avenue, Edinburgh, and was received by Mr Valentine Tudball (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh).
