Ryanair loses bid to block move

Ryanair has failed in its legal bid to prevent one of its former executives joining a rival airline. A judge in Dublin ruled that Peter Bellew was free to join easyjet next month. In his judgment, he said that even though the noncompete clause was valid, it was overly restrictive. Ryanair told The Daily Telegraph it would appeal.
