World’s richest get even richer

The world’s richest 500 people added 25pc, or a total of $1.2trillion (£920bn) to their wealth in 2019, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos took the top spot despite his divorce settlement payout.
