His Royal Highness, Colonel-inchief, Royal Dragoon Guards, this afternoon received Colonel Nicholas Millen upon relinquishing his appointment as Regimental Colonel and Major General Timothy Hyams upon assuming the appointment.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay later received the Ambassador from the Republic of Indonesia to the Court of St James’s (His Excellency Dr Rizal Sukma).

The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt called upon The Duke of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace.
The President of the Republic of Uganda called upon His Royal Highness at Buckingham Palace.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this afternoon visited Think Tank, Birmingham Science Museum, Millennium Point, Curzon Street, Birmingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr John Crabtree).

The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Sierra Leone and was received this evening at Freetown International Airport, Lungi, by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Sierra Leone (His Excellency Mr Simon Mustard).
