SANDRINGHAM, NORFOLK February 5th
The Queen this morning opened the new Wolferton Pumping Station, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and was received by the Land Agent of the Sandringham Estate (Mr Edward Parsons), Mr Brian Long (Chairman, King’s Lynn Drainage Board) and Mr Philip Camamile (Chief Executive).
Her Majesty, having been briefed on the reconstruction project and pump operations, viewed a demonstration of machinery and a display of historical items in the Control Room and met engineers, suppliers and members of staff.
The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Barnardo’s, this morning visited the Trauma Informed Growth and Empowered Recovery Service in London.
Her Royal Highness, Commodore-in-chief, Naval Chaplaincy Service, this afternoon held a Reception at Clarence House.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning visited the Children’s International School, Plot 8 Funke Zainab Usman Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria.
His Royal Highness subsequently attended a Theatre and Musical Performance, followed by a Lunch and Reception, at Lagos State Waterways Authority Yard, Falomo Jetty, Ikoyi, Lagos.
