A 27-year-old Londoner, he abandoned his degree in business management at the University of Westminste­r in 2014

Hamza Parvez

Aged 27, a former police cadet from London, who appeared in propaganda videos urging other Britons to join. He was nicknamed “Hungry Hamza” for social media posts about Western junk food

Ashraf Islam

The 23-year-old travelled to Syria in 2015 to “help the Syrian people”. His parents, both from Bangladesh, say the Home Office informed them his British citizenshi­p has been revoked
