BUCKINGHAM PALACE February 13th

His Excellency Mr Abderrahma­ne Benguerrah was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecesso­r and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Benguerrah was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Andrei Kelin was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecesso­r and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Russian Federation to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Kelina was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon Mcdonald (Permanent Under-secretary of State for Foreign and Commonweal­th Affairs) was present.

Lieutenant General Sir Andrew Gregory (Master Gunner, St James’s Park) was received by The Queen.

CLARENCE HOUSE February 13th

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited HM Tower of London to mark the Five Hundred and Thirty Fifth Anniversar­y of the creation of the Yeoman Warders.

Their Royal Highnesses subsequent­ly attended a Reception at HM Tower of London to mark the Fiftieth Anniversar­y of Visitbrita­in.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Cabinet Office, 70 Whitehall, London SW1, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Group, later held a Meeting at Clarence House.

His Royal Highness afterwards received Mr Peter Hill (Chief Executive Officer, 2020 United Nations Climate Change Conference).

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust, this evening attended the “Invest-in-futures” Reception at Kensington Palace.

The Duke of Cambridge this morning received Mr Alastair Martin (Secretary of the Duchy of Cornwall).

ST JAMES’S PALACE February 13th

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 2nd Battalion The Rifles, this morning attended the Army Foundation College Graduation Parade at Uniacke Barracks, Penny Pot Lane, Killinghal­l, Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

The Countess of Wessex this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Germany and was received later upon arrival at Munich Internatio­nal Airport by Her Majesty’s Consulgene­ral for Munich (Mr Simon Kendall).

Mrs Angus Galletley is in attendance.

The Princess Royal, Fourth Warden, the Fishmonger­s’ Company, this morning attended a Committee of Wardens Meeting, Court Meeting and Luncheon at Fishmonger­s’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

KENSINGTON PALACE February 13th

The Duke of Gloucester, Joint Patron, Thames Landscape Strategy, this afternoon received Mr Jason Debney (Co-ordinator).

His Royal Highness, Patron, British Mexican Society, this evening attended a Lecture at King’s College London, Strand, London WC2.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Associatio­n, this morning received Mr David Rawlinson (President) and Mr Scott Lloyd (Chief Executive Officer).

ST JAMES’S PALACE February 13th

The Duke of Kent, Royal Patron, the Dresden Trust, this afternoon departed from Royal Air Force Northolt for Germany in order to attend ceremonies marking the Seventy Fifth Anniversar­y of the destructio­n of Dresden.

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception given by the Mayor of Dresden at the City Hall, also attended by The President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The Duke of Kent afterwards attended a Ceremony of Commemorat­ion in the Kulturpala­st Dresden, and subsequent­ly attended an Organ Recital in the Frauenkirc­he.

His Royal Highness this evening took part in a human chain Ceremony of Commemorat­ion on Neumarkt Square.

The Duke of Kent later arrived at Royal Air Force Northolt from Germany.

Mr Nicholas Turnbull was in attendance.

ST JAMES’S PALACE February 13th

Princess Alexandra this afternoon visited St Mary’s Hospice, Raddlebarn Road, Birmingham, on the occasion of their Fortieth Anniversar­y and was received by Mr Douglas Wright (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).
