MI6 recruits teenagers to gain ‘edge’ in tech race
MI6 has lowered its age requirement to recruit teenagers to help give the spy agency a technological edge.
The Secret Intelligence Service has cut the age minimum from 21 to 18 to attract younger recruits who have “lived” technology since childhood.
Sir Alex Younger, the MI6 chief, told a group of teenagers visiting its Vauxhall Cross headquarters: “Your generation is key. The relationship particularly with technology is going to be the thing that gives us our edge”
