Lesotho PM absent for murder charge

Lesotho’s prime minister left the country yesterday, hours before he was due to be charged with the 2017 murder of his ex-wife.

Thomas Thabane, 80, took a flight to South Africa to seek medical treatment, his son said.

Police said they would issue a warrant for his arrest if he did not return to Lesotho this weekend as promised.
