White night

Debutantes dressed in white evening dresses and tiaras dance with their partners at the Vienna Opera Ball, one of the highlights of the Austrian social calendar that is attended by 5,000 guests. Around 145 couples perform at the ball, which began in 1935, at the Wiener Staatsoper state opera house.
