- By Jaymi Mccann and David Millward

Ghislaine Maxwell allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl while Jeffrey Epstein watched, according to claims in a book, Relentless Pursuit, by Bradley Edwards, a lawyer for more than 20 of Epstein’s victims. He accuses the socialite of groping Annie Farmer as the paedophile looked on at his ranch in New Mexico. The 58-yearold is also accused of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein. The daughter of the late Robert Maxwell denies all allegations.

GHISLAINE MAXWELL is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl while Jeffrey Epstein watched, according to claims in a new book.

In his Relentless Pursuit, Bradley Edwards, a lawyer for more than 20 of Epstein’s victims, accuses the socialite of groping Annie Farmer as the convicted paedophile looked on at his ranch in New Mexico.

Ms Maxwell, 58, the daughter of Robert Maxwell, is also accused of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein – allegations she has vehemently denied.

According to the book, Ms Maxwell allegedly participated in some of the acts of abuse herself, The Mail on Sunday reported.

Ms Farmer, now 40, gave evidence against Epstein during a bail hearing last July. Following Epstein’s prison cell death, the US attorney’s office in Manhattan said it would continue its investigation into Epstein.

“There is no question in my mind that the multiply-accused Ghislaine Maxwell must be investigated,” Lisa Bloom, who is representing four of Epstein’s accusers, told The Daily Telegraph.

“These new allegations are sickening and heartbreaking. Everyone accused must be brought to justice.”

According to the book, Ms Farmer was flown to the 7,500-acre Zorro Ranch and taken shopping for a pair of cowboy boots.

Epstein, who had offered to pay for Ms Farmer to attend a summer programme in Thailand, and Ms Maxwell then watched her model the boots, before he said she “deserved a massage”.

Ms Maxwell is then alleged to have “made her get naked before covering her with a sheet”, according to the book, exposing her breasts and massaging them. When Ms Maxwell finished massaging her, Ms Farmer claims that she stood up, only to realise Epstein had been watching them.

The book also alleges Ms Maxwell enjoyed taking nude pictures of the girls she recruited for Epstein, with some of the photographs being hung on the walls of Epstein’s mansion.

Ms Farmer is now suing both Epstein’s estate and Ms Maxwell in New York. These latest allegations surfaced just over a week after Ms Maxwell took legal action in the US Virgin Islands seeking reimbursement for legal fees she incurred as a result of her work for Epstein.

The scandal has enveloped several prominent figures including the Duke of York, a friend of Epstein’s.

Two of Epstein’s victims have alleged they had sex with the Duke of York. Virginia Roberts Giuffre alleged she had been trafficked to London in 2001, where she was forced into having sex with the Duke – an allegation he has fiercely denied.

Ms Giuffre, who is also suing the Epstein estate, has been fiercely critical of Ms Maxwell, who has always denied any wrongdoing.

She filed a defamation case against Ms Maxwell. which was settled in May 2017. She reacted angrily to Ms Maxwell’s decision to sue for part of Epstein’s estate, writing on Twitter: “How dare you play the victim card when you victimised me and countless others.”

Gloria Allred, a lawyer representing five of Epstein’s victims, said: “Ms Maxwell was a close friend of Epstein and part of his inner circle.

“Any allegation by anyone who alleges that she was a minor and that she was sexually victimised by Epstein, Ms Maxwell or anyone who lived with or associated with them should be taken seriously and investigated.”
