Heathrow crowds

-

sir – Heathrow traffic (report, April 15) is down by 90 per cent. This is still around 20,000 people a day.

Who are these people making flights that call at Dubai, Rome, Los Angeles and Manila? How many are “superspreaders” – like those who started this crisis in Britain – and what are the controls over their movements?

Fetcham, Surrey

sir – There will never be a better opportunity to work on the motorways and railways than now.

It will save millions in the long run. Michael Faunce-brown Marlborough, Wiltshire
