Electric car chargers

sir – If the Prime Minister wishes to encourage electric cars (Business, June 8), he should concentrate on providing refuelling infrastructure, rather than a scrappage scheme.

Last year I bought an electric car, but was obliged to sell it as the lack of charging points around the country made the vehicle unworkable for me.
