High-value watches among burglars’ £30,000 haul

TOP quality watches and other items made by Cartier and Dunhill were among a £30,000 haul when burglars raided a home in Oxfordshir­e.

Thames Valley Police said: “At around 11.30am and 2.30pm on Friday offenders broke into a house in Buscot Wick, Faringdon. A search has been made with high value jewellery being taken including a black Rado watch, a gold Omega watch, a gold Tissot watch, a gold and silver Rolex, a stainless steel Dunhill dress watch and a Raymond Weil watch in gold and stainless steel.

“Additional­ly a Raymond Weil watch with a black face with a gold rim, a Raymond Weil watch with brown face and strap, a Gucci limited edition watch and a Tag Heuer watch in white gold with a pink tinted face. Two diamond signet rings, a platinum and diamond ring, two pairs of diamond stud earrings, four pairs of gold earrings, a yellow sapphire pendant with matching earrings, a topaz pendant with earrings and a gold ring with five diamonds on the top. The offenders also took two lighters, one a piano Dunhill lighter, the other made by Cartier.”
