Testing time

A gorilla at a zoo in Florida was given a test for coronavirus after it was taken for treatment at a veterinary centre. Male lowland gorilla Shango was injured in a fight with brother Barney at Zoo Miami, where the pair both live. Shango, who had bite wounds, had a mild fever and was tested for Covid-19 as a precaution, but proved to be negative.
