Country of origin should be shown online

-

SIR – When buying goods online, the purchaser can rarely tell where they were made. I recently bought a quantity of household items – including two tables, two chairs and a toaster – and, on delivery, found that they were all made in China.

In my view, the country of origin should be shown online, next to the product details. Until then, we will unwittingly continue to support the suppression of democracy in Hong Hong, and the persecution of the Uighur people and others.
