Full steam ahead

A restored locomotive is preparing to carry passengers once again as the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) reopens today. Steam journeys will be running seven days a week, with four daily return departures from Pickering to Levisham and from Grosmont to Goathland. The NYMR carries more passengers than any other heritage railway in the UK.
