Swiss Guards attend a Mass to mark the swearing in of new recruits at St Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. The annual ceremony, usually held on May 6, in honour of 147 soldiers who died defending Pope Clement VII in 1527, was postponed due to Covid-19.
