Neighbour fights soared in lockdown, say police
Neighbour disputes almost doubled in lockdown, a police force has said.
Sussex Police mediation service said it had supported 285 people during lockdown, 196 per cent more than in the same period in 2019, over issues such as noise and parking.
Katy Bourne, police and crime commissioner for Sussex, said: “Lockdown restrictions amplified residents’ frustrations, which they have taken out on each other.”
