RED BANANAS REAPPEAR.

Little by little Covent Garden resumes its pre-war appearance. After a considerable period of absence red bananas have reappeared. This fruit is not generally known. Still less is it appreciated by the general public, although the red or “claret” banana is not only large but of exceedingly luscious flavour. It grows in many tropical regions.
