Surgeons: At the Edge of Life

The cameras travel to Addenbrookes and Papworth, where two highrisk pioneering procedures loom for the surgeons: a woman whose blood clots will prove fatal must have her heart stopped and blood drained, while an operation may allow a man whose hips have been destroyed by tumours to walk again.
