 A coming-of-age drama starring David Essex, Rosemary Leach and Ringo Starr and directed by Claude Whatham. Restless teenager Jim Maclaine (Essex) leaves home and teams up with kindred spirit Mike (Starr) for rebellion and rock ‘n roll. Can Jim make it as a musician, or will he remain stuck in a mundane rut? It’s a brilliant homage to the 1960s and its sounds, and to one band in particular .
