Kirsten Dunst stars in this likeable Peyton Reed-directed movie set in the strange world of cheerleading. Dunst plays Torrance, the new captain of the Rancho Carne High School cheerleading squad whose challenge is to win the national championships for a sixth time. This suddenly becomes much harder when she discovers that the previous captain has been ripping off another squad’s routines for years.
