Look back in wonder
Provocative art duo Gilbert & George attend an exhibition of their work spanning 50 years. On display together for the first time are Three (1984), left, a dramatically staged depiction of three youths from London’s East End, Black Mare (1981), below, from a series of images of the Royal Family, and saturated, whimsical works Bubbled (1992), right, and State (1988), below right. The show runs until Nov 6 at Ben Brown Fine Arts in Mayfair, London.
