Boot will step into Foot’s shoes at retailer

Terry Boot will step into the position of finance chief at Shoe Zone after his predecessor Peter Foot walked away from the role. Mr Boot has previously worked at companies including Brantano UK and most recently ran the Company of Master Jewellers. The Aim-listed chain, which has 430 stores in the UK, posted a drop in sales of 24.3 per cent to £122.6 million for the year to the end of October, mostly because of successive store closures as a “non-essential” retailer.
