Muddy spuds

sir – Tesco is to start selling muddy potatoes (report, March 1). No doubt, due to the Northern Ireland Protocol, this will not happen in the province.

sir – My solution to supermarketwashed potatoes is to transfer them from plastic bags to a recycled paper sack in my garage. They last for weeks.
