Spa springs up in Scarborough

A Roman ‘spa and gentlemen’s club’ on the site of a Scarborough housing development is the first of its kind to be uncovered, archaeologists believe. The building complex consists of a circular room with adjoining chambers built to a design ‘never seen before in Britain’.
