Sterling work in England’s Euro 2020 opener at Wembley

Raheem Sterling delivered the perfect riposte to his critics yesterday as he scored his first tournament goal for England in a 1-0 win over Croatia in their opening Euro 2020 game at a socially-distanced Wembley. England’s young side secured the country’s first ever winning start to the tournament, which is being played in 11 different nations.
