Eltham College ex-pupils ‘shocked’ at legal letters
A group of ex-pupils who compiled a dossier of sexual abuse at a private school have been accused of obstructing investigations by the school’s lawyers.
The group of Eltham College alumni, a school in Bromley, London, were said to be “shocked” at receiving “intimidating” legal letters, sent after they presented the school with evidence of sexual abuse complaints.
Former students said allegations of misogyny and sexism, as well as sexual harassment and assault within and outside school grounds, were shared with them. Headteacher Guy Sanderson told The Guardian: “We remain very much engaged with the issues that have been raised.”
