The Reg Corwen Trophy is a matchpoint pairs championship for the leading pairs from each English county who qualify via their county’s association’s principal pairs event, writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent. This year, the competition took place online on Realbridge, and the winners are as follows:

1st Fred Hotchen and Steve Preston (Hampshire and Isle of Wight), 59.49%; 2nd John Hayton and Mike Jackson (Yorkshire), 57.67%; 3rd Stuart Strachan and Eleanor Rice (Hampshire and Isle of Wight), 57.62%; 4th Derek Oram and Celia Oram (Hertfordshire), 56.76%; and 5th Dave Robinson and Tony Sowter (Yorkshire), 56.27%.
