Softbank invests $50m in Peak
Softbank is set to invest tens of millions of pounds in Peak, a Manchester-based artificial intelligence start-up. Its Vision Fund is expected to inject about $50m (£36m) in return for a “meaningful” stake, reported Sky News. Founded in 2014, Peak counts Pepsico and fashion retailer Prettylittlething among its clients.
