Taking the plunge

Catalin Preda of Romania dives from the cliff edge at Downpatrick Head, an area of rugged coastline on the Atlantic sea in Co Mayo, Ireland. The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series travels to outdoor locations across the world, challenging competitors to dive from heights ranging from 26 to 28m. This is the first time the peninsula has hosted the event.
