There’s only one David Clough

-

A statue has been erected in the stands at Rochdale Football Club of lifelong fan David Clough, who died last year aged 78. The superfan, known as Cloughie, helped raise £500,000 for the club after he sold scratch cards for its lottery for 25 years, and left his entire estate to the club upon his death. His fellow fans raised £10,000 for a life-size statue of Cloughie to be built in the main stand at the Crown Oil Arena.
