The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this morning visited Aberdeen Art Gallery, Schoolhill, Aberdeen, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor Barney Crockett, the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Cathedral Church of St Machar, the Chanonry, Aberdeen.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay subsequent­ly visited James Cordiner and Son Limited, Crombie Place, Aberdeen.

KENSINGTON PALACE September 21st

The Duchess of Cambridge today visited Cumbria and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant (Mrs Peter Hensman).

Her Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commandant, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, this afternoon visited North Region Air Cadets at Cathedral Quarry, Ambleside.

The Duchess of Cambridge later spoke to Mr Icek Alterman and Mr Arek Hersh (“Windermere Children”) on board the Steam Launch Osprey on Lake Windermere.

Her Royal Highness afterwards spoke to supporters and families who have been supported by the Lake District Holocaust Project, Windermere Jetty Museum, Rayrigg Road, Bowness-onwinderme­re, Windermere.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Internatio­nal Award Foundation, this afternoon chaired a Developmen­t Group Meeting via video link.

The Princess Royal this morning visited Direct Meats Charcuteri­e Plant at Knights Farm, Swan Street, Chappel, Colchester, and was received by Dr James Bettley (Deputy Lieutenant of Essex).

Her Royal Highness later opened the new Design, Art and

Technology Building at Westcliff High School for Girls, Kenilworth Gardens, Westcliff-on-sea, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Essex (Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst).

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Canvey Island Youth Project, Yellow Door Youth Hub, Poplar Road, Canvey, Essex.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Royal College of Paediatric­s and Child Health, later received Dr Camilla Kingdon (President) and Mrs Jo Revill (Chief Executive Officer).

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Agricultur­al Society of the Commonweal­th, received Sir Nicholas Bacon, Bt, upon assuming his appointmen­t as Chairman.

Her Royal Highness, Master, the Corporatio­n of Trinity House, this evening attended a Dinner at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Worshipful Company of Pattenmake­rs, this afternoon received Ms Jennifer Bryantpear­son (Master) and Colonel Robert Murfin (Clerk).

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch Reception at Mansion House, London EC4.
