Phones could soon diagnose depression

Tech giant Apple is developing software to help diagnose depression and cognitive decline in its users, according to reports.

By harnessing an array of data including mobility, physical activity and sleep patterns, researchers hope algorithms can be created to detect symptoms associated with the conditions.
