Portrait Artist of the Year 2021

Watching paint dry was never more exciting. The eighth series of this joyous art contest welcomes a cross-section of professionals and amateurs to paint celebrity sitters Gabrielle, Jacob Fortunelloyd and Grace Neutral for the prize of a £10,000 commission. Tonight, our interest is piqued when one contestant does a monoprint of the subject and another paints from a fish-eye perspective. Stephen Mangan and Joan Bakewell return as hosts.
