Millionaire killer faces court over wife’s death

Robert Durst, the millionaire real estate heir who was sentenced last week in California to life in prison for murder, has been charged in New York with the death of his wife, Kathie Durst, who vanished in 1982.

A state police investigator filed a criminal complaint accusing Durst, 78, of second-degree murder.

Last week, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole for murdering his best friend Susan Berman, whom prosecutors say helped him cover up Kathie’s killing.
