Next month the UK will host its first major consumer watch show for three years with more than 40 brands due to take part. Watchpro Salon 2021 will be held at the new five-star The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square, with tickets costing from £20.

As well as larger brands such as Grand Seiko, Maurice Lacroix, Ball Watch and Oris, exhibitors will also include firm fan favourites like Doxa and Junghans, plus there will be an opportunit­y to see and handle timepieces from some of the world’s top independen­t watchmaker­s, among them Laurent Ferrier and Voutilaine­n.

In addition to the watches on display, experts from Bonhams auction house will be on hand to give advice on buying and selling vintage pieces, as well as from the British Horologica­l Institute to answer questions on British watch- and clock-making.
