Trump’s book hails Johnson as the best PM since Churchill

- By Rozina Sabur

BORIS JOHNSON will go down as “the best Prime Minister since Winston Churchill”, Donald Trump has said in his first book since leaving the White House.

The former president praised Mr Johnson as “one of a kind” and a “fantastic leader” for the UK in a handwritten caption accompanying a picture of the two leaders.

The picture is one of more than 300 included in the new book, Our Journey Together, which captures key moments of Mr Trump’s “incredible” presidency.

Each photograph and caption was hand-picked and personally written by Mr Trump, 75.

A photograph of Mr Trump with the Queen during his visit to the UK is included in the collection.

Pictures of Mr Trump meeting with Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president and several other world leaders are also included in the tome.

The coffee table book will be released on Dec 7, in time for Christmas.

The books are being sold via Mr Trump’s website 45books.com. A signed copy of the book will set shoppers back $229.99 (£171), while a standard copy costs $74.99 (£55).

The book is from Winning Team Publishing, a venture formed by Donal d Trump Jnr and Sergio Gor, which plans to publish more Make America Great Again authors, according to Axios.

An online description of the book bills it as a chance to “relive the unforgettable moments of President Trump’s time in the White House”.

Highlights include building his signature border wall with Mexico and “battling liberals on two impeachment witch hunts”, according to the website.
