Met officer charged with 13 more sex offences
A Met policeman accused of raping a woman has been charged with 13 other offences against three more women.
Pc David Carrick, 46, appeared in court in October after a woman claimed he had attacked her in 2020.
St Albans magistrates court heard Mr Carrick told her he had protected VIPS including the Prime Minister.
His next appearance was due on Dec 3 but he has now been charged with 13 additional offences including three rapes, three sex assaults, false imprisonment and coercive control.
Mr Carrick, from Hertfordshire, will appear before Westminster magistrates tomorrow. He is a firearms officer in the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command, the same unit where Wayne Couzens, who kidnapped, raped and murdered Sarah Everard, served.
