Parents told not to wait for school jabs rollout

-

Health chiefs have urged parents not to wait for their child to be vaccinated at school, with slots now open at vaccination centres and pharmacies.

The rollout in schools for children aged 12 to 15 has been set back by changes in medical guidance on jabs, but families have now been encouraged to come forward.

Prof Stephen Powis, the medical director for NHS England, told parents to use the booking website to find a slot at vaccination sites, pharmacies and some GP practices.
