WINDSOR CASTLE November 30th

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investitur­e at Windsor Castle this morning. This afternoon Major Sanjip Rai, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, Major Deepak Rai, Queen’s Gurkha Signals, Captain Deny Gurung, The Queens’ Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment, and Captain Ganeshkuma­r Gurung, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, (The Queen’s Gurkha Orderly Officers) were received by Her Royal Highness who, on behalf of Her Majesty, invested them with the Insignia of Members of the Royal Victorian Order. Colonel Jody Davies (Colonel, Brigade of Gurkhas) was present. Later The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investitur­e at Windsor Castle.

CLARENCE HOUSE November 30th

The Prince of Wales this afternoon held a Meeting on the Sustainabl­e Markets Initiative at the Residence of the British High Commission­er in Barbados. His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Toast to the Nation Reception given by The President of Barbados at State House. The Prince of Wales later visited the National Archives, Barbados. His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Trust Internatio­nal, afterwards attended a Reception at Ilaro Court, Bridgetown. The Prince of Wales subsequent­ly attended a Meeting with Mrs Mia Mottley, MP (Prime Minister of Barbados), at Ilaro Court. His Royal Highness subsequent­ly departed Grantley Adams Internatio­nal Airport for the United Kingdom. The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended an Oscar Wilde Reception at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

KENSINGTON PALACE November 30th

The Duke of Cambridge this morning visited refugees who have been evacuated from Afghanista­n at the Holiday Inn Leeds, Wakefield Road, Garforth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr Edmund Anderson). His Royal Highness afterwards visited Community Action to Create Hope, Hovingham Avenue, Harehills, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

ST JAMES’S PALACE November 30th

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning attended a Trustees’ Meeting at 1-2 Paris Garden, London SE1.

KENSINGTON PALACE November 30th

The Duke of Gloucester this morning planted a commemorat­ive tree for The Queen’s Green Canopy at Rutland Showground, Oakham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Rutland (Dr Sarah Furness). His Royal Highness afterwards visited For Rutland, 33 Pilling Road, Oakham. The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Hambleton Bakery, 2 Cottesmore Road, Exton, Rutland. His Royal Highness later visited the Falcon Hotel, 7 High Street, Uppingham, Rutland. The Duke of Gloucester afterwards planted a commemorat­ive tree for The Queen’s Green Canopy at Uppingham Community College, London Road, Uppingham.
