The Queen was represente­d by the Hon Mary Morrison at the Funeral of Diana, Lady Farnham (Lady in Waiting) which was held in the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, this afternoon.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Haddo House and Country Park, near Methlick, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Aberdeensh­ire (Mr Alexander Manson).

ST JAMES’S PALACE

January 14th

The Princess Royal, Patron, Royal College of Paediatric­s and Child Health, this morning received Dame Mary Marsh upon relinquish­ing her appointmen­t as Chairman and Ms Joanne Shaw upon assuming the appointmen­t. Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal College of Midwives, afterwards received Dr Kathryn Gutteridge upon relinquish­ing her appointmen­t as President and Ms Rebeccah Davies upon assuming the appointmen­t. The Princess Royal, President, the Mission to Seafarers Limited, this afternoon received Mr Thomas Beardley (Chairman) and the Reverend Canon Andrew Wright (Secretary General).
