Cineworld saw a recovery in December, thanks to bumper audience numbers for the latest Spider-man film. UK box office sales last month were at 89pc of prepandemic levels, with 91pc at Cineworld’s US Regal chain. The world’s secondlargest theatre operator said its cash flow turned positive in the fourth quarter after sales improved.
