A young sempstress, who is heiress to 8,000,000 marks, has been arrested at Munich for shoplifting. The fortune was left her by an American admirer, but is to pass into her possession only when she comes of age. According to the charge she had rings shown her in a jeweller’s shop, and while pretending to examine them purloined several to the total value of 25,000 marks.
